- Cheaper to produce/minimal human labour
- Faster to achieve high volume production
- Produceable in surplus
- Resources involved more abundant/cheaper/ more environmentally friendly/sustainable
- Less friction to achieve high volume production
- More stable/less likely to explode or catch fire
- More cold weather endurable/minimal cold soak
- Self healing if possible
- Stable sustained voltage
- New applications (benefits like being lighter weight for aircraft)
